Still Out There

Hi Everyone,

Been awhile since I’ve communicated, but since Brigid made the website change, I simply haven’t been able to log in. First wouldn’t recognize my password, tried unsuccessfully to change it on multipe occasions, but not until several more attempts today did I succeed. Beginning to wonder if the internet gods have been trying to thwart me. In any event, things have been somewhat uneventful in the midwest (except for the arrival of my 5th grandchild 3 weeks back – and Leah looks like the last). However, it finally looks like summer has arrived. Been putting in breakin miles on my new Electric Glide Ultra Limited (yep still a Harley man). The old one just wasn’t the same after the Alaska trip- at least that was the excuse I gave my wife.
Looking forward to hitting the road again, but it has to be scheduled around my annual fishing trip to Canada and several family vacations. This retirement thing is sure a bitch!! Hope everything is well with all members of the group and I look forward to being able once again to communicate with you all on this site.

Bill

  1. That’s right. Blame me … LOL! I swear I didn’t do anything to affect passwords. Must be this retirement thing … or just AGE! But, seriously, its good to see you here.

John and I are still marooned on the Isle of Wight with my mum. She doesn’t need us anymore, thank the Lord, but seems happy for the time being to pay for our upkeep. Still we live in hopes of selling our London home soon and are planning a trip to Hell (yes, “Hell”, in Norway) for their annual jazz festival en route to the Arctic Circle in September. If it’s a success, we might make this an annual event – “To Hell and Back”. It could catch on. Watch this space …

Hello to all, glad to see winter finally get the hell out of the mid-west. Now if it will only quit raining. We did Arizona bike week this spring, weather was great and saw alot of pretty country. Plans for the summer are to head east to the coast and work are way down around Key West, back up the Gulf of Mexico to New Orlrans and back home. Look at taking off around the second week in June. Like Bill, I also changed rides, I now have a 2007 Electric Glide. Hope all is well with ever one, things are great here. We can’t wait to hit the road. Talk to yu later……..JonnEE
